The Lavender Cafe Orchestra needs musicians who can play to a reasonable standard, eg Grade 5 would be a starting point.

Our main performances are for the LGBTQ community but that doesn't mean you have to feel that you fit into any of those identities, yourself. It would be quite helpful if you like the sort of music we play or you can compose.

Rehearsals are in Saltaire, Shipley and are on one Sunday afternoon a month unless we've got a performance coming up and panic has set in.

All this takes money and we'll ask you for a contribution to the cost of the rehearsal space which could be as much as £2.50 each rehearsal.
